It's been a big two weeks for us! More great reviews for our song Black Stockings and it was selected to the long list for the international Talent is Timeless competition, which is pretty cool. And then we got the astounding news we are one of eight finalists in the blues category for the Intercontinental Music Awards, which will be held in Los Angeles in August. You know that old cliche that it's an honour to be nominated? It's true! Here is how this competition is described: "The InterContinental Music Awards (ICMA) is a prestigious global music competition that recognizes exceptional artists from across the world and celebrates music as a universal language of unity. Established in 2011, ICMA is based in Los Angeles, California, and is dedicated to breaking cultural barriers through music and uplifting independent and emerging artists by providing them with international recognition, mentorship, and exposure." We are so amazed to be finalists, and so grateful for all the support people have been giving us - thank you.
